In partnership with our national entity, BGCC, and with our local churches – their pastors, leadership and people – and being guided by God’s revealed Truth, we will strive to nurture the passion and provide the necessary resources

            To develop healthy pastors and leaders

            To revitalize existing churches, and

            To plant healthy reproducing churches

in our primary designated region of Manitoba and Northwest Ontario to the end of planting and growing worshipping caring churches globally.

In the pursuit of the stated mission, we will be guided by these affirmed values:

1. We affirm our commitment to the authority of God’s revealed Truth and to prayer as foundational to all effective ministry.
• We will submit ourselves to the written Word of God as our authoritative guide in all matters of faith, Christian lifestyle and practice.
• We will submit ourselves to Jesus Christ, God’s personal Word, as our Lord and head of the church; and in turn, we will submit to one another as members of Christ’s body.
• We will exercise private and corporate prayer within and among our churches as an expression of our dependence on God.

2. We affirm our commitment to nurturing a passion for revitalizing existing churches and for planting healthy reproducing churches which are committed to the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus to their communities.
• We will resource our churches in a variety of ways to become healthy and reproducing.
• We will be available to help our struggling and ailing churches to become healthy once again, while at the same time respecting their autonomy.
• We will provide care to our pastors and their families, believing that healthy pastors and leaders are foundational to healthy, reproducing churches.
• We will invest in the training of our pastors and leaders to grow and to be healthy, with special attention given to the development of the next generation of leaders within our churches and the BGCC movement.

3. We affirm our commitment to cooperative partnerships among our regional and national pastors, leaders and churches, as well as with other like-minded churches, ministries and missions.
• We will work hard at maintaining the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace with those who are like-minded:  locally, regionally, nationally and globally.
• We will model and promote vital cooperative partnerships among our pastors, leaders and congregations for local and regional effectiveness, for national church healthiness and planting and for global opportunities to expand God’s kingdom.

4. We affirm our commitment to our primary role of serving our constituent churches.
• As a district board and district minister we will resource our constituent churches in a variety of ways to enable them to achieve their stated vision(s) and mission.
• We will keep our district structure as flexible and functional as possible in order to serve our stated mission.
